Nichola also gives illustrated lectures and practical workshops on food-related subjects; her two specialities are food history and the marketing of venison.

Nichola particularly enjoys being involved with food events.

These are wide-ranging, and make use of her eclectic skills as well as her extensive historical knowledge of feasts.

Nichola's Tutored Game Tastings are her particular speciality; she has given them to

  • The Edinburgh Gastronomical Society
  • The International Wine and Food Society
  • the Scottish Chamber Orchestra
  • The Guild of Food Writers

and for many private parties.
